I. Overview
EPP series AC power supply lightning protector consists of several
monolithic lightning protection chips, which can be freely combined
into single-phase or three-phase protection for different power
distribution systems to prevent damage to low-voltage power
equipment from inductive overvoltage or operational overvoltage.
epp80t is usually used for secondary protection.
visual warning indicator, aging thermal decoupling and short
circuit overcurrent decoupling, thermal backup, aging prediction,
35mm standard rail mounting, etc.
site conditions before installation
1,There is a reliable grounding system, and the grounding
resistance is measured on the grounding stake (strip) of the
distribution cabinet (SPD installation), and the resistance should
meet the national standard.
2,Space should be left in the distribution cabinet for the
installation of SPD.
Note: L is the fire wire, N is the zero wire, E is the ground wire.
Precautions after installation
1,Check if the air switch is turned off and carry out to make sure
the SPD is in working condition.
2,Do not install in thunderstorm.
Maintenance
This product is installed in parallel in the line, and its
operation should be checked regularly, especially after
thunderstorms. The inspection is divided into appearance inspection
and performance test.
Appearance inspection. Each lightning protection module has
deterioration indication. When working normally: the indicator is
green; after aging: the indicator goes out. the SPD should be
replaced in time after aging.
Performance testing. According to the national lightning protection
code, test at least once a year, and measure V1mA and IL≤20μA of
L-PE and N-PE respectively with lightning protection element tester
as qualified.
